John uses new and scrap stainless and patina metals, and his individual design style, to create distinctive sculptures that contain so many different shapes, objects and beings. Frequently embellished with colorful glass globes and other findings, each piece is a unique expression of John’s creativity. The sculptures can become whatever your own artistic eye perceives.

John was inspired to create his heron sculptures while on vacation in Hawaii.  They are close cousins of the white Egret which is a common sight in Hawaii. He loved the way they stood so stoically and patiently and has captured their majesty in his patina  metal creations.  Ranging in size from 3 to 11 feet tall they are created from scrap metal and embellished with colourful glass globes. Each heron is a unique and custom made individual.  John’s creative expression is evident in the  attitude and feeling conveyed in each distinctive piece.

Whimsical and fun critters to hide in and around your garden, quirky abstracts and flowers or functional wall mounted sculptures created by John come in lots of sizes and are a great addition to any garden or to add a touch or rustic elegance to your home decor.
